Last Updated: August 28, 2026

Conviction Index offers optional paid digital features known as Conviction Points.

1. Conviction Purchases

Your first argument on each debate is free after you cast your vote. Each completed purchase unlocks exactly one additional argument, regardless of tier. Current purchase tiers may include:

$1 — Add Conviction
Adds 1 Conviction Point and unlocks one additional argument.

$3 — Strong Conviction
Adds 5 Conviction Points and unlocks one additional argument.

$5 — Spotlight
Adds 10 Conviction Points and unlocks one additional argument, which is eligible for temporary Spotlight visibility.

Pricing and features may change in the future.

2. Digital Product

Conviction Points and related features are digital products.

They:

  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be withdrawn
  • Cannot be transferred
  • Cannot be exchanged for prizes
  • Do not create ownership or investment rights

3. Public Vote

Purchasing Conviction Points does not create additional Public Votes and does not change the user's existing Public Vote.

4. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment provider.

Users are responsible for providing accurate and authorized payment information.

5. Refunds

Because Conviction Points are digital features that may be applied immediately after purchase, purchases are generally final once successfully delivered.

However, Conviction Index may issue refunds at its discretion for circumstances including:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Technical errors
  • Unauthorized transactions
  • A paid feature that was not delivered due to a platform error

Refund requests should be submitted within 14 days of the transaction where reasonably possible.

Refund requests may be sent to:

support@convictionindex.com

Include:

  • Account email
  • Approximate transaction date
  • Purchase tier
  • Description of the issue

6. Account Suspension

A user's suspension or removal for violating platform rules does not automatically entitle the user to refunds for previously delivered digital features.

7. Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact Conviction Index before initiating a payment dispute so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
